For sale: Two-bedroom apartment in the 1930s Pullman Court block in Streatham Hill, London

Pullman

A little bit cheaper than a lot of the places we’ve featured recently is this two-bedroom apartment in the 1930s Pullman Court block in Streatham Hill, London.

It’s something of an iconic building too, designed in the 1930s by the architect Frederick Gibberd for ‘young professionals’, each flat coming complete with a radio, gas fire and ice box built in and offering plenty of natural light, not to mention views of lawns and trees from the majority of apartments.

The one for sale has a reception, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms, all in a fairly modern style (although there’s plenty of deco-style design out there to give it a period feel). It’s on the market for around £225,000.
