Verner Panton 1950s Wire Cone chair

As much a piece of sculptural art as a seat, but whatever way you look at it, the Verner Panton 1950s Wire Cone chair is certainly an eye-catcher.

Panton designed in back in 1959, creating a chair made of exposed and intertwined spot-welded steel wire – and the way that wire slots together means the chair has a different shape from just about every angle you look at it.

Comfort is provided by polyurethane foam and polyester cushions in a variety of colours, the price is £1,251.
