Planet Vintage Girl opens mid-century showroom in Manchester

Vintage and retro design just might get a little easier to find in the Manchester area with the opening of the new Planet Vintage Girl showroom.

Currently based at Failsworth Mill, Planet Vintage Girl (owned by Laura Gaither) is opening in the city centre, specifically at 252 Chester Road, Hulme (on the outskirts of the Deansgate roundabout), sharing a building with Insitu Architectural Salvage, Fe26, and Silverleaf (all equally worth a look).

Planet Vintage Girl specifically specialises in 1950-1970s vintage and retro furniture, lighting and accessories – all original designs (no reissues or remakes) and al likely to offer better value to money than the designer shops just around the corner. And as there are many on-offs, there's likely to be more exclusivity too. The new store opens this Saturday (7th March 2009) at 3pm – we might see you there.
