If you happen to find yourself in the San Francisco area between now and mid May, then we suggest you visit the de Young Museum for the Warhol Live exhibition.
The first comprehensive exploration of Warhol’s work in relation to music, the exhibition includes silkscreen paintings, album covers, films and sound recordings. Warhol Live also features some more unusual and ambitious recreations including Warhol’s Silver Factory loft, a multimedia performance of the Exploding Plastic Inevitable and the musical ambience of Studio 54.
Warhol Live runs until 17 May at the de Young Museum, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. Admission is $20. Visit the Warhol Live website for further details.
