Steve McQueen-inspired Bullitt cargo bike

I've never seen a cargo bike before today, so I can't really say if the Bullitt cargo bike by Larry vs Harry is the only Steve McQueen-themed one around. But I suspect it is.

Sold out of Denmark, the bike is part of a range that also includes everyone from Albert Einstein, Che Guevara and Fidel Castro through to Burt Reynolds and Chuck Berry, each one with detailing of your chosen 'celebrity'.

The bike itself is a lengthy number, but perfect for carting around heavy loads, just as long as you don't have to go up many hills. It also offers a powder paint job, hardened aluminium frame, a 7-gear SRAM i-Motion hub, hydraulic front brake, double-bound aluminium wheel rims, puncture-proof Schwalbe tyres, security and easy saddle and handlebar adjustment. All of that for 1,800 Euros. More images over the page.

  1. WTF? Is this the dumbest attempt at a celebrity tie-in ever? What on God’s green earth does this contraption have to do with the film “Bullitt”?
