We mentioned the book by the same name late last year, but you can now actually see “Photographing Fashion: British Style in the 1960s” at the Fashion Museum in Bath.
Like the book, the exhibition features photographs from the collection of Sunday Times Editor, Ernestine Carter, which chart the changes in fashion throughout the decade. But what makes the exhibition really worth the trip, is that the photographs will be displayed alongside actual garments, so you will some of the pieces in real life as well as in print.
The exhibition has been running for a little while now, but it will be showing until the end of 2010 so there is still plenty of time to head to the south west. Full details can be found on the Fashion Museum website.
