Indulge in the ultimate vintage thrillers in one weekend at the 24-hour Film Noir-athon at Manchester's Cornerhouse.
The classic noir pictures of the post war period inspired the following generations of film makers to create dark, brooding cinema. This event charts the evolution of the film noir from the 40s to the present day over 24 hours, featuring a whopping 11 films being shown back to back. Classics from the 1940s like Double Indemnity and The Big Sleep will be shown during the event, which takes place on the 14th-15th September.
Tickets for the event start from £22. See the website for more details.
