It's hard to beat the appeal of a good bit of 1950s pattern design. Which is why we love the new V&A Kite Strings collection from Wild & Wolf.
The collection is based around a design in the V&A's extensive archives, a pattern for fabric designed by David Parsons in 1955. It's a design that screams that decade, as well as being a rather cheering colour.
It's not been used simply as fabric in this case, however, and instead has been applied to various homewares and bits for the garden, including the string holder shown above and an enamel mug that's pictured below. It can also be found decorating everything from a vase to a peg bag.
Prices start at £8.95 for a mug.
