This Spot Print Jumpsuit from Oasis is a cutesy and easy to wear summer version, basing its style on fifties and sixties looks. The halter neck design ensures a feminine balance to the city shorts style of the bottom, while a mid shade of red adds a classic and luxurious feel.

G-Plan Wingback Sofa from Hopper & Space

Sofa
Hopper & Space have some of the best examples of reconditioned mid-century furniture out there and this G-Plan Wingback Sofa in particular has caught our eye.

The original G-Plan piece has been rejuvenated with a fresh coat of varnish on the oak legs and reupholstered in striking period-perfect powder blue brushed linen & cream cotton. Perhaps not the sort of colours advisable for our readers with children, pets or particularly grubby household members but an excellent original piece lovingly restored to it's former glory that any retro devotee will no doubt treasure for years to come.

As you might expect, the sofa doesn't come cheap. If you love enough to part with your hard earned cash, it'll set you back £1295 from the Hopper & Space website.

eBay watch: 1950s Morris Minor Convertible Splitscreen

Morris1

Seeing as the sun is out, we've tried to find something suitable for our eBay treasure today – and we think this 1950s Morris Minor Convertible Splitscreen fits the bill perfectly.

It's a gem of a motor, built in 1954 as a convertible (not a later custom job) and still going strong, perhaps thanks to the amount of money paid out by the current owner. Since he/she bought it in 202, they've spent £8,000 on doing the car up, including chassis restoration, a new hood and Newton Commercial half-hide front seats and general maintenance.

It's got an unleaded 948cc engine and an 'old English white' colour scheme, with the only fault being a 'hairline crack in the windscreen'. But replacement glass is included in the sale. Fancy it? Bidding is at £2,500. A shot of the interior over the page.

Two Piece Playsuit from Topshop

Twopiece

Playsuits and shorts with vintage flair are back for another Summer season, adding something a little different to the many dress and skirt options on the high street. For the braver retrophiles amongst us, Topshop bring us this Two Piece Playsuit.

With a hint of fifties swimwear style to the piece, it's reminiscent of the 60s use of those style elements in daywear. The combination of a crop top and matching shorts is not for wallflowers, but effectively evokes the obsession with the girlish that pervaded much of mid sixties fashion. Finished in a nautical navy stripe the pieces can carry a vintage charm when worn separately too.

Get yours from Topshop for £28.
