Graham and Green have added their Fifties Lamp to the sale, reduced from £39.95 to £31.60.
The lamp is available in either orange or clear and was produced by the same company responsible for the original Angelpoise lamp. This version was designed by Anthony Dickens and is “frozen” at fifty degrees.

An alternative to Cath Kidston’s dominance of the retro picnic market (if such a niche exists!) is the Blyton Retro Hamper.

Everybody’s favourite retro doll makes an appearance now on some stationery, in the form of this 3D Blythe Notebook.
The doll is wearing splendidly psychedelic clothes and is set against a bright pink background. The image is lenticular which means that it moves as you look at it from different angles, which has the potential to be quite scary given Blythe’s huge eyes and inscrutable stare!

If you liked the bold fruit print of Enzo Mari’s “La Mala” and "La Per" that we featured recently but weren’t so keen on the price tag, perhaps the Marimekko "Paaryna" Wall Hanging will be a good alternative.
Hand screen-printed on cotton, the wall hanging measures 57 inches by 36 inches and features the bold pear design created by Maija Isola and Kristina Isola in 1969.

Pictured here is “La Mela” (or “The Apple” if you really need a translation!) by Enzo Mari. Like the “In Attesa” Wastebasket we featured last week, this was also designed for Danese Milano.
Originally created back in 1963, “La Mela” belongs to the Nature series which also includes “La Per” (The Pear), “La Pantera” (The Panther) and L’oca (The Goose) which are all in a similar graphic style.
La Mela measures just over 44 inches squared and costs $250 (around £130) from Nova68.
