Onitsuka Tiger 1970s Lawnship trainers reissued

Lawnship

With Wimbledon just around the corner, it's the perfect time for Onitsuka Tiger to re-introduce a pair of its archive tennis shoes – the Lawnship trainers.

First seen back in 1976 and designed for legendary tennis pro Ken Rosewall, they certainly have a touch of the 'Stan Smith' about them (see those perforations), but definitely have their own look, with a rounded toe, non-slip outsole and mix of leather and suede for the upper, with a dash of blue thrown in to finish things off.

Check out the website for more details (and to play a game of old school Pong). You can pick up a pair from Schuh, Size? and the Onitsuka Tiger stores in London and Liverpool.
