eBay watch: A pair of 1970s Guzzini Sirio space age table lamps

Not just one lamp, this auction is for a pair of Guzzini Sirio space age table lamps.

Designed back to the 1970s (as you might have guessed) and the work of design duo Lampa and Brazoli for Guzzini, each lamp is comprised of two half-spheres, spaced slightly apart and held together by chrome 'bolts'. They even fix to the wall, with the auction including original clamps for that, said to be 'rare'.

Condition is 'good', with no cracks in the lucite and just minor traces of use. Right now, the price for the two is just 62 pence.

eBay watch: Vintage ‘pop-art’ hanging lamp

Yellow

Love the design and right now, this vintage 'pop-art' hanging lamp is available for next to nothing too.

Details are scarce, with the seller claiming it is from the 70s or 80s. If I was a betting man, I'd go for 80s, just because of that bold yellow colour, which is reminiscent of the era. It's made of plastic and has a diameter of a 34cm, with no cracks or indeed, wear and tear.

A real 'statement' piece for your living room – this mushroom-style table lamp in orange.

Out of the 1970s, but still cutting a fine figure in the modern era, the lamp has a base and top of chrome-plated metal, with that bold orange shade in plastic. Tall too – standing at 20 inches (50cm), with 'very, very good above-average' stated for the condition.

eBay watch: 1970s Raak XXL table lamp

It's had 21 bids so far – yet this stunning Raak XXL table lamp is still under £30 right now.

A 1970s design (as you might have guessed), it mixes that metal tulip-style base with a larger plastic shade, the whole thing standing around 58cm tall – hence the name.

Condition is described as 'perfect' with no 'wears, tears or cracks'. So that current £27.70 price looks like a bargain thus far.

This is a stunning design, as well as a rare one – so this original Guzzini table lamp is well worth the money.

Dating back to the 1970s and perfect for that 'Space 1999' look, this particular lamp was inherited by the seller and is described as being in 'full working order' and 'superb condition' for both chrome and shade. There's also the original double switch attached and a couple of brand new light bulbs for it.
