Adidas Stan Smith 80s trainers get a new reissue

Smith

It is generally believed to the bestselling Adidas trainer in the company's long history, shifting around 30 million pairs since its introduction in 1971 (in various incarnations). This Adidas Stan Smith 80s reissue should bump that figure up a bit more.

This is the 1980s take on a classic, complete with thinner tongues and a less chunky silhouette. But aside from that, pretty much what you expect, with a white and green colour scheme, premium leather upper, perforated three stripes and off-white sole unit.

Pre-orders now being taken, £65 is the price.

Fila1

If you're a fan of the 1980s styling that the Fila Vintage range offers, we suspect you'll be all over this Fila Big F tracktop.

It's an archive 1980s tracktop, originally designed for the tennis circuit, but equally as popular on the terraces. For your money, you get a black and white top with a red and black F' on the front, along with a small logo on the chest and a coloured logo zip pull.

A limited edition, it sells for £59. Also, check out over the page for an item very appropriate for the weather – a Fila Heritage scarf, which has all the trademark Fila detailing for £19.

Veja Volley 70s-style tennis shoes

Veja1

We have featured the Veja brand before, a Fairtrade company that produces really cool retro-styled footwear. The Veja Volley is the company's latest addition.

Available in two colourways, the Veja Volley is apparently inspired by a Brazilian trainer from the 1970s and has an organic cotton canvas upper and an Amazonian rubber sole, the style and detailing kept to a mimimum for something simple and stylish.

You can see the other colour option over the page, with both pairs selling for £70.

Please note: Retailer End Clothing has just told us that it is currently doing free shipping worldwide on everything it sells for the next 72 hours – so if you are after some new clobber, check out its site now.
