New retro inspired lines from George at Asda

George_at_asda

The good old British supermarket clothing lines are always handy for a cheap and cheerful bargain. Thankfully the ranges are improving all the time, meaning you’re no longer confined to shopping for stripy socks and undies.

George at Asda‘s new summer range features quite a few good looking pieces, including some inspired by 50s preppy style and others by early 70s hippie/folk. Of course, these summery pieces of retro style are unbeatable on price. See them online and buy in stores.

Coming soon: Space Invaders 30th anniversary t-shirt and new online game from Taito

Space_shirt

Space Invaders is 30 years old
– and to celebrate, maker Taito is producing a limited edition t-shirt and a new online game.

The limited t-shirt is a joint project between Taito and 55DSL and is available from 30th April. It should look something like the above (although that’s obviously a mock up).

But before that – tomorrow in fact – a brand new Space Invaders game will launch under the name Space Invaders World War. It’s essentially a teaser for the t-shirt, but as its Friday, it’s the perfect way to kill work time until the weekend. Check it out via the link below…
