The Throw-away series of armchairs and sofas were designed by Willie Landels for Zanotta. They won the Golden Medal a the M.I.A. International Exhibition in 1970.
Both the armchair and sofa have a frameless body with a boxy shape that is still popular today. They are available in a range of colours and fabrics, although the stark white leather option fits best with a space-age décor.
Prices start at £1390.00 for a fabric armchair and go up to £4045.00 for a 3-seater sofa in leather – not quite throw-away prices!
