George Nelson 1950s ceramic clocks for Vitra

Classic designs that are well over 50 years old, but the George Nelson ceramic clocks for Vitra have only recently gone into production.

They ere designed back in 1953, developed as far as the production stage, but never actually sold. 56 years later, Vitra has used the original plans and prototypes to finally produce them properly, complete with original quartz movements.

So all you need to do is decide which of the three eye-catching, sculpture-like porcelain and metal designs you want. The price is the same for all – around £170.
