Dalu
We have a soft spot for the Dalu, dating from some years back when we found two discarded as 'old plastic' in a box on a car boot sale. Needless to say, we snapped then up sharpish. Thing is, our white lamps look pretty dull compared to the limited edition glitter version of Vico Magistretti-designed Dalu Lamp.

The lamp itself dates back to 1969 and is in production in both plain colours and some transparent shades. But this glitter finish is a limited edition for Christmas 2013. As such, it's likely to be sought after by collectors, as well anyone who wants to add a bit of shine to their living room (or bedroom, these make great bedside lamps).

The Artemide-made lamp is exactly the same as the original model apart from the finish, which means it is made from a moulded thermoplastic material, buy it is now powered by an LED bulb (included).

£72 gets you one.
