Audio with style: Mid-Century Media Console at West Elm

A couple of people on Twitter (don't worry, I'll not name you) were talking about cutting down a sideboard for a use as a media unit. That's not necessary when something like this Mid-Century Media Console at West Elm exists.

It pretty much fills that gap. A piece of furniture that looks like a mini sideboard and in effect is a mini sideboard, complete with angled legs, bevelled edges and a mix of eucalyptus wood and acacia wood for the construction.

Dig beneath the surface (a surface that should hold your audio or visual hardware) and you'll find drawers, a cabinet, a shelf and wire cut-outs for your media (books, discs etc) and kit. So looking good and serving a purpose. What we like to see.

If you want one, it's available online for £559.
