If this design looks familiar, it is because the Ochre floor lamps by The Forest & Co have something of a resemblance to a midcentury classic.

That ‘classic’ is the Grasshopper lamp by Greta Grossman, which was first produced back in 1947, but has been reissued more recently by Gubi. The Ochre is around a quarter of the price of the current version.

It isn’t exactly the same by any means, but it does have the look, with the angled metal frame supporting the curved shade, which seems to hang casually off it.

Each stands around 174.5cm tall, with three colour options to choose from. he price is £175.
