I’ve seen plenty of cushions emblazoned with the words “Love”, “Peace” and “Home” but Angel Linens have something a little different. As well as the aforementioned designs, they also have these Sea, Sand and Surf Vintage Linen Cushions.

They have the same shabby chic style but the wording is particularly appropriate at this time of the year. The cushion is made from vintage French linen with the lettering created with a random mixture of ticking stripe linens. As is usually the case with products using vintage materials, the exact design you receive will vary slightly from the one shown.

The cushions measure 40cm squared and cost £65 each. They can be ordered online from the Angel website.

Continuing the trend for all things Union Jack, Cox and Cox are selling a Union Jack Rug.

It has been made exclusively for Cox and Cox, uses 100% wool and measures 90cm by 180 cm. A bold design such as this is tricky to pull off, but this looks to be well designed enough to still look stylish.

It costs £135 and can be ordered from Cox and Cox online.

The Ovaltime Wall Clock is another great Etsy find. It has been created by Pilot Design, who has a selection of great clocks to buy, but this is my favourite.

The version pictured here is made from Chalk White laminate on MDF with oval-shaped cut out patterns. The combination of the colour and the curves give it a definite retro look. The Ovaltime clock is also available in black.

The clock costs $45 (around £30) and can be bought from Pilot Design’s shop on Etsy.

The Aspire Bar Unit is a home bar very much in the Seventies mould. 

It is made from a sleek combination of chrome and glass (choose from clear or black) and has two shelves as well as the bar top.  This gives you plenty of room for your ice bucket, cocktail shaker and liquer bottles.

The unit costs £350 and can be bought online from Wotever, who kindly offer free delivery within the UK.

When it comes to recreating a Fifties diner style, there are plenty of Coca-Cola products on the market, but something a little more distinctive is this Sprite Napkin Dispenser.

It has the same nostalgic style but as the vintage Sprite brand hasn't been as over-used as the Coke logo, it makes a refreshing change!  The dispenser costs £17.50 and will be available to buy soon from Just Retro.  Also coming soon is a matching Sprite straw dispenser, for £12.95.
