Naïve is another company that specialises in renovating old fashion in quirky ways (there seem to be quite a few companies doing this these days). Perhaps the most interesting piece in their current range is the “Look Back in Time” 1960s Wall Mirror.
The mirror is an unusual irregular shape but to add even more character, it has been decorated with striped of wallpaper in brown, orange and yellow, to complete the retro look.
It costs £32 and can be ordered from Naïve’s store on Not on the High Street. There is also a matching sideboard available.
Niki De Saint Phalle came to prominence in the 1960s, a rare woman in the male dominated art world in Paris. She has often been overlooked and not taken seriously but the Tate Liverpool is currently showing an exhibition of her work.
