M21 Flat Panel Console – turn your modern TV into a vintage design

M21

Want a cutting-edge TV but don't want something dull in the corner of your home? You need the M21 Flat Panel Console.

Available in two sizes (which can be adjusted before delivery for your set) and for both LCD and plasma TVs, the M21 turns your 2009 TV into something a little more mid-century, with a sustainable black walnut frame, vintage speaker cloth and a hand-rubbed oil finish.

Sadly none of that come cheap, costing even more than your new TV at $3,600.

Arne Jacobsen 1930s Roman Clock by Rosendahl

Arne_clock

A grand clock for a grand setting – the Arne Jacobsen Roman Clock by Rosendahl.

It was originally designed for the Arhus Town Hall, with the kind of grand look you would expect in a 1930s civic building. But this version has been shrunk down for the modern home, offering up a version on aluminium and curved glass in three sizes – small, medium and large.

Prices vary dependent on that size choice, but start at £159.

Classicon mid-century style Diz armchair by Sergio Rodrigues

Diz

A stunningly well-made seat that oozes mid-century looks – but the Classicon Diz armchair is actually a design from the modern era.

Rodrigues first produced this back in 2002, packing all those mid-century cruves into a chair designed purely for kicking back and relaxing. In terms of construction, the chair is handmade from solid eucalyptus wood, with the seat and backrest made of laminated eucalyptus wood and Imbuia face veneer.

Take your pick from three finishes, all available for £3,632. Yes, you read that price correctly.
