Heidi Seeker Gold Mini Boombox shopper

Miniboom
We’re always taken by quirky bag designs – and this Heidi Seeker Gold Mini Boombox shopper is certainly that.

Looking bold in gold, the design jumps out further with a splash of purple and green, not to mention that old school boombox look. The design is all around, with the bag featuring a contrasting zip, inside zip pocket and a strap that’s long enough to wear over your shoulder.

Available online, you can pick one up for £18.

Celia Birtwell Bag with Elle Magazine

MagazineIf you can’t face the inevitable scramble for her autumn collaboration with Topshop but still need to get your fix of Celia Birtwell’s prints, then buy the latest issue of Elle Magazine. Elle are giving away free Celia Birtwell Shopping Bags with each magazine.

The bag comes in a choice of three designs – blue bold daisy print (the print used on last year’s Topshop bags), black with a floral wreath pattern or beige with Celia’s catwoman logo.

As is often the case with these magazine freebies, the quality isn’t brilliant, but for the £3.30 cost of the magazine, you can’t really complain.

Recycled London Transport cloth shopper

London_transport_cloth
Looking for something eco-friendly with a bit of heritage? You need this recycled London Transport cloth shopper from Rennies Seaside Modern.

Yes, as you can probably tell, the bag, which is sized at 14 inches x 11 inches, is made of vintage (but unused) District Line moquette, along with a leather shoulder strap for carrying.

And it’s been made in very small numbers – so if you get one, chances are that no-one else you know will have one. The bag retails for £65.

Woodland Trust Plant More Trees retro shopper

Plant_more_trees
Dorothy Perkins
has teamed up with the Woodland Trust for a range of clothing and accessories, with a percentage from each item going to the charity for its tree-growing plans.

We like this Plant More Trees shopper, with its 70s-style nature design on a turquoise organic cotton bag.

It costs just £6 – and £1.50 of that goes to the charity. Just £5 allows the Woodland Trust to plant a tree – so if four of you buy one, that’s a little extra greenery on the planet.

London Underground shopping bag

Underground_shopper Yesterday we featured the London Transport Canteens mug from W2. But that’s not all in the collection, there’s allsorts of vintage-styled products available, including this London Underground shopping bag.

The design is taken from a 1909 Underground sign over the entrance to Baker Street tube station, while the bag is made of cotton drill with a pvc coating to house the screen-printed image.

Ideal if you want a solid ‘shopper’ instead of more plastic bags in the house, it retails for £10.
