Adidas Stan Smith 80 x Maharishi trainers

Maharishi

Another Adidas classic gets a designer makeover – resulting in the Adidas Stan Smith 80 x Maharishi trainers.

As you would expect, the Stan Smith shape and key detailing (like the perforated stripes) have been left intact, with London based label Maharishi just adding their own 'look', specifically a heavy gauge blue chambray upper that references 'naval uniforms from WWII'. There's also contrast stitching and some Maharishi logos alongside the Adidas.

Likely to be a limited edition, they sell for £79.

APC classic trench coat

Apc_trench

APC has added its own twist to a timeless classic – the trench coat.

Not the cheapest trench on the market, but certainly one of the more stylish, the APC trench coat is in navy, with  two button down storm flaps, belt, cuff and epaulette detailing, a Teflon coating and tartan lining.

All of that will cost you £325. If that's a little rich for you, check out Uniqlo, which currently has similar-styled trench coats for a fraction of the price – just £69.99.

Anthony Peto Deerstalker hats

Deerstalker

Bizarrely, I remember this style of headwear being popular with casuals for a short time in the 80s, but I suspect the Anthony Peto Deerstalker hats will probably appeal to the country squire in all of us today.

Faithful to the classic 'Sherlock Holmes' Deerstalker, but with a modern twist, the Anthony Peto version is made of wool in a choice of black, blue or the grey above, complete with adjustable earflaps, peak and cotton inner lining.

Four sizes to choose from, all priced at £65 at Oki-Ni. The same retailer also has some colourful, high-end pork pie hats from that same designer too.

Stussy Deluxe x Dr Martens desert boots

Stuss_dm

We featured the Dr Martens Manton desert boots recently, but we've just encountered another variation on the theme – the Stussy Deluxe x Dr Martens desert boots.

It's a 'fun' take on the classic desert boot, available in three shades of suede (brown, grey and black), all with a white outer sole, contrast laces, mid-sole and tab.

They land in Japan on August 22nd, with Europe to follow. No word on price, but we'll guess 'premium'.

Adidas Superstar Vintage trainers reissued

Superstar

Not a million miles away from the reissue we saw earlier this year, the latest Adidas Superstar Vintage trainers trim a little off the price and just a little off the 'luxury' aspect too.

In general, these are pretty faithful to the 1969 originals, both in colour scheme (blue and red on the white premium leather upper) and with that classic 'shell' toe. But it does lose that plain tongue and contrast interior.

Saying that, it also loses £20 off the price too – you can pre-order these now for £65.
