Martin Margiela 70s-style running shoes

Margiela

High-end fashion designer Martin Margiela has gone all vintage again with these 70s-style running shoes.

Well, 'designed' might be pushing it a bit, these are a remake of an unnamed 1970s Austrian running shoe, mixing blue leather, blue suede panels, nylon and a vulcanised rubber sole. And for you label fiends, the designer's name is on the tongue in suede.

Not cheap (and probably not great for actual running), you can pick up a pair for £195.

Adidas Forest Hills Tournament Edition

Adidas_forest

Following on from its Consortium remake, the Adidas Forest Hills is the last of the reissued tennis shoes to get the premium Tournament Edition.

This 70s shoe is probably an acquired taste, especially with that rubber toe cap and perforated toe box. Strange, but actually quite scientific – the she's ventilation system was actually developed by NASA.

Like previous Tournament issues, the Forest Hills has a premium leather upper, a Tournament Edition presentation box and limited availability.  You can pre-order yours now for £89.

Tuk vintage-style slim-fit shirts

Tuk

A new label well worth your attention is Tuk Clothing.

They specialise in pretty much one thing – slim-fit shirts – with the company using local tailors and bold, colourful 100 per cent cotton cloth with a vintage slant to produce a slimline shirt range in small numbers, with no pockets and small collars.

Right now there's a choice of gingham check and floral cloths, with the detailing the same for all the shirts currently for sale. But it is early days. I've dropped the company a line and they are going to expand the detailing choice and will do subtle changes of detail if you ask first.

In the meantime, check out the site for the current range – price is around £55.

Adidas Vespa retro track top

Adidas_vespa

We featured the Adidas Vespa trainers a shirt while back, but now there's some clothing too – including the Adidas Vespa track top.

A typical vintage track top, with classic Adidas stripes and logo, along with branded arm vents and high collar. But as it's also a Vespa collaboration, it's also got the Vespa logo on the breast, as well as a large stitched Vespa logo on the back – check that out over the page.

Strictly limited numbers, you can pick one up for £69.
