Bye Bye Tokyo’s retro gaming t-shirts

Tokyo_tshirts

It’s apparently Geek Week at the Bye Bye Tokyo website, which means a load of new retro gaming and computing t-shirts.

And they’re quite eye-catching too, with images including the Pac-Man and Nintendo featured here, as well as Space Invaders and computing images, such as mouse pointers and keyboards.

Prices start at 19.90 Euros, which is just short of £14.

Cult costume T-shirts from ’80s Tees

80s_tees

Whatever your favourite cult reference may be, it’s safe to say that television and film breed nostalgia in almost everyone. We’ve all seen a million Superman t-shirts being worn by fans of all ages, but what of the cooler characters you loved in your youth?

80s Tees has a great collection of costume t-shirts featuring classics from Transformers to GI Joe. My favourites are the Charlie Brown and Darth Vader shirts. Transform yourself into the fictional character you always believed you could be for $20 – $30.

Puma Loakes Clyde trainers

Puma_loakes
What do you get if you ask a sportswear firm to design footwear alongside a traditional shoe company? The Puma Loakes Clyde.

Part of the bespoke collection available from Oki-Ni, the shoe is based on the classic Clyde trainer from 1972, but re-interpreted by longstanding British footwear firm Loake. Premium grade calf leather is used for the upper, with each piece cut by hand. There’s also a brogue-style toe, Clyde sole and a hand-polished finish.

And there’s just 100 pairs around. If you want one, they retail for £180
