At the back end of last year, we featured the rather stylish Harry armchair. But now we've discovered its big brother – the Linea Harry sofa at House of Fraser. Best of all? This midcentury-inspired gem is heavily-discounted right now.

Available as a two-seater or a three-seater (pictured above), the Harry sofa has bags of 1950s charm, from its curved arms and back through to its angled conical legs, not to mention the stylish buttoned back. There's also a wood frame, traditional webbed seating and a finish in Vence lime green fabric.

It's only available online and as we said earlier, it's discounted heavily. The two-seater is £399 (from a previous price of £699) and the three-seater is £499, down from £899. Presumably that is while stocks last.

We did feature one of these back in 2010, but we've not seen a Colani UFO ceiling light in orange before.

it certainly looks impressive in that colour, along with the contrasting clear panels. Not bad condition either for something well over 30 years old. This 1970s space age classic in what's described as 'used but very good' condition – some minor wear, but nothing you would notice without a close inspection.

There are a plethora of jumpsuits in the shops this season but none calls to mind Bianca Jagger circa 1977 like French Connection's Venetta Drape Jumpsuit.

Beautifully cut from silver satin the jumpsuit has a great shape with a wrap-over detail at the bust, cummerband-style waistband and kimono sleeves that give way to a sleek, tailored leg shape. Thanks to the eighties revival of recent years, lace has made its way back into the mainstream of fashion. It's finally being used for a wider variety of looks, delving further into fashion history for inspiration to the 1960s with this Lace Babydoll Dress from Dorothy Perkins.

The dress has an instantly early sixties cut, with three quarter sleeves, a short full skirt and high neckline creating a cutesy retro silhouette that was found on both sides of the pond at the time. The daisy print lace adds a textural edge to the simple cut, finished in a shade of red that's just daring enough to stop this being too girlish.

Rotaliana BPL Light by Camilla Diedrich

The Rotaliana BPL Light by Camilla Diedrich was designed in 2005, but, like many white pendant lights, it has a space-age 1960s look to it.

The globe has been hand woven from white polyester, which has been knotted wooden casts and put in a steam oven, to create the little bubble effect. It is available in two sizes, 39cm in diameter (£606) or 65cm (£1024).
