Cook’s Conversion Table tea towel by Utility

Untitled
We introduced you to 1940s-inspired retro emporium Utility last year. This Cook's Conversion Table is a new addition to their charming tea towel collection.

As practical as it is stylish, the Cook's Conversion Table tea towel is invaluable to any cook braving the confusing world of weight & volume conversions. It's pretty nifty for drying your dishes too. Like all of their tea towels, it's handmade and printed in their Brighton studio on high quality cotton and is available in either plain white or striped.

The Cook's Conversion Table tea towel is £9.50 from Utility in store or by mail order. See the website for more details.

eBay watch: A pair of 1970s Guzzini Sirio space age table lamps

Sirio

Not just one lamp, this auction is for a pair of Guzzini Sirio space age table lamps.

Designed back to the 1970s (as you might have guessed) and the work of design duo Lampa and Brazoli for Guzzini, each lamp is comprised of two half-spheres, spaced slightly apart and held together by chrome 'bolts'. They even fix to the wall, with the auction including original clamps for that, said to be 'rare'.

Condition is 'good', with no cracks in the lucite and just minor traces of use. Right now, the price for the two is just 62 pence.

1970s space age cars up for sale at RM Auctions

Car1

Cheers to Andrew for flagging up an auction that's going to get lovers of space age motors drooling – the RM Auctions motoring sale at Villa d'Este event on the shores of Lake Como in Italy.

The lots range from classic cars to legendary concept cars of the 1960s and 1970s, which are the property of the Bertone museum and the items we are flagging up. Above, you'll find the 1970 Lancia Stratos HF 'Zero' and over the page, you'll find a 1974 Lamborghini Bravo, a 1980s Lamborghini Athon and a 1967 Lamborghini Marzal – the last of those apparently driven by Prince Rainier and Princess Grace at the start of the 1967 Monaco GP.

Want one? Estimates for the concepts range from 60,000 Euros through to 1.5 million Euros for that Marzal. See more images (and more motors) from the auction, which takes place on 21st May. Compared to those prices, the catalogue is fairly cheap at 70 Euros!
