Thought dominoes couldn't get cool? Well, you've obviously not seen the Keith Haring Domino Set.
It's dominoes, but not as you know it – instead of dots on a plain background, you get some Haring 80s-style street art, which comes packed in a rather cool Haring-style box.
It's fun on a rainy day, as well as a stylish thing to have about the place. Yours for £40.
Dali’s iconic images of melting clocks were always going to be an obvious target for merchandising opportunities.
This Dali Wall Clock isn’t the most faithful interpretation of Dali’s timepieces, but it retains some of the surreal spirit while still being functional. Rather than the whole clock melting, here the clock is still a traditional circle, but it is the numbers and hands that have been distorted.
The clock costs just under £20 and is available to buy from Vertigo Interiors.
Can't say I know much about the maker, but there's no denying the period charm of this Cos.Mo desk lamp.
A 1960s Italian design, it's made of stainless steel, with the base made from four segments of flattened oblong shaped steel with a jointed arm and a curved perforated steel shade.
Condition is described as being 'in great shape', but you might want to check the images on the site for a close-up look. Best of all is the price – right now it's just £3.32, which makes it an absolute steal.
Bubinga Ltd was established with the aim of providing good design at affordable prices. This retro looking lounge chair is a pleasing example of the range of furniture they offer to meet this brief. It's got a nice low seat with wide armrests and a stainless steel base for swivelling on, as well as lounging.
It's available in a wide variety of finishes: black, red and white leather, pink floral or olive and aubergine stripes as well as the green pictured. Their price is £199.
Jonathan Adler's designs across textiles, furniture and ceramics come up time and time again on this site. This Berry vase is another lovely piece, this time pleasingly available to buy from a UK retailer so you can avoid all those fees for shipping from the US.
It's one of a selection of his ceramics offered by the V&A shop, all inspired by classic mid-century design. The organic curving shape, the plant form patterns that run up the side of the vase and, of course, its name, all reflect the influence of the natural world on the piece. The vase costs £70.
Cardboard you ask? No, this isn't going to rot away after a quichk shower, it's actually hard-wearing if you produce it the right way. And as this vintage-style cardboard luggage at Manufactum has been produced in the Czech Republic for over 80 years, we can assume it comes with an excellent reputation.
Described as 'sturdy as anything', the suitcases have studded side-pieces are studded, corners and edges that are metal-reinforced, wooden strips on the outside for added stability, and the larger cases have solid wooden frames on the inside. If that's not enough, the locks and handles are made of steel, with an inner lining of paper. One other vital ingredient too – they look unbelievably hip.
Prices vary depending on the size of case required, but start at a very reasonable £22.50 for a black or red finish. Also, check out over the page for a really stylish hat box made in the same style by the same people – that will set you back just £24.50.
