Recycled Tin Bouquet

TinflowersFor those without a garden or impatient for flowers to grow, here is an interesting alternative from Uncommon Goods – Recycled Tin Bouquet.

The bunch of bright coloured blooms will add a touch of summer to your home or garden without the messy, hardwork of gardening.  Perhaps not as environmentally-friendly as growing your own flowers, nonetheless the flowers are made from recycled tin.  Evidence of the tin’s former life has been left in as there are still bit of nail and rust, giving each flower a unique look.

The Bouquet of six flowers costs $50 (approximately £26) from Uncommon Goods.

Its just a pity it isn’t made in adult sizes too!

Seventies style ‘Cagney’ jeans by Duck & Cover

67e032olil

While the indie crowd are staying put with unfathomably skinny denim, the fashion stores are finally rebelling to allow the rest of us some jeans with a touch more style.

The high-waist seventies flare is now firmly here, and these Cagney jeans from Duck & Cover at Oli are a perfect example. Named for a true seventies icon, the structured waist and generous wide leg look make these stylish and easy to wear to boot.

They’re reasonably priced for well made denim, too, at £80 from the Oli online shop.
