Kitty Triangle leisure bag

Kitty_triangle

Ticking the boxes for being cheap and cool are these Kitty Triangle bags from Fly-Bird.

A definite hint of Shag in that retro cat design, which is no bad thing by us, these triangular bags are sized at 7 inches x 3 inches and come with a detachable strap. Obviously, they’re not going to hold your weekend stuff, but for daily essentials, they could just about fit the bill.

Available online, they retail for $17 (around £9). And a big thanks to Natasha for the link.

Classic chair design wallpaper – and you can colour it in

Designpaper

Mini Moderns have a range of design for kids and ‘kidults’. And I’m guessing the latter will certainly go for this Sitting Comfortably? wallpaper.

The design is an arrangement of classic/iconic chairs and seating, the kind of design that will look stunning on a feature wall, but will also give you or your decorator nightmares when it comes to matching up.

It’s available in a buttercup/bitter chocolate colour scheme or best of all, as ‘snow’ (picture above), which means you can colour it in yourself when the paper has dried. Which sounds like hours of fun. A roll size is 52cm x 10cm and it retails for £38 per roll.

Meridian F80 – home entertainment system with the looks of a 1960s Ferrari

Meridian_f80

What do you get if you cross a high-end audio maker with a high-car end car manufacturer? The Meridian F80.

Ferrari took control of the looks and apparently modelled it on the classic 1960s ‘shark nose’ Ferrari 156 racer. Although you would probably need to be a Ferrari nut to tell. For the rest of us, it’s a quirky entertainment system with two speakers and a subwoofer packed in for 160w of output, not to mention a CD/DVD player, DAB/FM/AM radio, all the connectivity you need (including your iPod) and a clock/alarm function.

There’s also a body made by Ferrari and a choice of Ferrari colours. You just know it isn’t cheap – and it isn’t at £1,495.

Mod target car mats

Target_carmats
The high street seems to be going target-mad right now – and that includes your local Tesco, which is selling these target car mats.

Not a lot you can say about car mats, except that they keep the floor of your car clean. These are universal, so should fit most cars, although I’d wager they would be more suited to a Mini rather than a Vauxhall Corsa.

Available instore and online, you can pick the pair up for £15.

Two Tone label coasters

Twotone_coasters Following on from the Sex Pistols coasters we featured a while back, here’s something similar from a slightly different era – Two Tone label coasters.

A set of four coasters, printed ‘using the latest sublimation techniques’ and each featuring an inner single label from a Two Tone release, with a coaster each from The Specials, The Beat, The Selecter and Madness.

Good for nostalgia and good for adding a quirky touch to your living room, they retail for £5.95 per set.

Monopoly piece keyrings

Monopoly

Monopoly has been around since the 1930s, which probably makes the pieces design classics of sorts. And you can take them with you with these Monopoly piece keyrings.

You can choose from the top hat, dog, car and boot, made of (I presume) stainless steel and with the loop to attach your keys easily.

Available online, you can pick any of the designs up for £7.50 each.
