For an alternative Valentine's Day print, take a look at this An Embrace of Rose print by Woop Studio.
Although this print obviously has a romantic feel, Woop Studio specialize in producing prints based around collection nouns, so take a look at their other designs based around things such as a Parliament of Owls or a Stand of Flamingos. All the prints are executed in the same retro style, reminiscent of the work of someone like Abram Games in the 1940s and 1950s.
Prices start at £69 for a small unframed print.

If Modern British Posters sounds familiar, it's because we highlighted the book by Paul Rennie a few months ago. If Modern British Posters appeal to you, you'll be pleased to hear that Black Dog are putting on an exhibition to accompany the release of the book.
The posters on show are drawn from the author's own collection which includes work like the poster illustrated, designed by Abram Games in 1942, or designed to promote significant events like the Festival of Britain. As with the book, the collection covers much more than than the mid-century, starting in the early twentieth century and going up to the present day.
The exhibition opens at the Black Dog space in Acton street on Friday, 11 June and runs up until 13 August. Entry is free.
