Watt ceiling lamp at John Lewis

Watt

You really can't get any more classic than the Watt ceiling lamp at John Lewis.

As the name suggests and the images show, this is a ceiling lamp based on the light bulb.  Indeed, it's a bulb within a bulb, that larger outer bulb made of glass and with a brushed chrome finish, holding a 25w bulb for the light.

Sold with a 130cm drop of cable, it's yours for £45.

It's also quite conveniently located too, within walking distance of the city centre and the train station. That's if you need to be in Cambridge obviously.

It's also described as 'mechanically sound' and with 'sold bodywork', with the added bonus of a Webasto sunroof and Rostyle wheels, not to mention a modern CD MP3 player within.

Keep Calm And Come In Doormat

Calm

Over five years since we first featured it (and yes, we were the first with it), that poster just keeps on appearing in different guises – the latest being this Keep Calm And Come In Doormat.

Yes, another variation of the Keep Calm and Carry On craze, which we thought had run out of steam by now. But we do actually like this particular design, which uses the original red and white on a mat sized at 43 x 73cm.

£23.50 is the price.
