The Cold War exhibition at the V&A has finished, but you can still buy the related products at the online shop. Amongst a selection of original Oliver Goldsmith’s designs are these “Hep Sunglasses”.
These sunglasses were worn by Audrey Hepburn in the 1963 film “Charade”, a film where Ms Hepburn’s wardrobe is as exciting as the plot. Like other Oliver Goldsmith designs, they are made completely by hand, which is some justification for the price.

Pictured here is the Bathing Belles design, others include a Showgirl design and “Car Boot” which features a photograph of two young men reclining in the boot of a vintage motor.
