Designer silk tea dress from Lauren Moffatt

Designers and high street alike have gone crazy for retro inspiration in their women's wear this year, whether it's Mod chic or a more demure edge like this number.

This Lauren Moffatt dress has a great retro shape, with three quarter length sleeves and a wonderful collar. The silk and gold embellishments lift it from the ordinary Little Black Dress, and the '60s mini hemline is perfectly offset by the high neck.

Unfortunately the label and materials mean it's by no means a bargain at $409. Still, it'd certainly turn heads.
