Clothing labels PPQ and Ben Sherman have collaborated together on a range entitled "Five Decades of Dresses". Each dress in the range reflects a different decade and the music style associated with the period.
Starting with the 1960s and mod, the collection continues through 1970s(rock) , 1980s (ska), 1990s (Britpop) up to the present decade (indie).
Predictably, the earlier decades have the better dresses with a Twiggy-esque black and white shift dress for the 60s and a purple paisley print shirt dress for the 70s, although the simple striped number for the 90s isn’t bad either.
All five dresses cost £175 and can be ordered online from the Ben Sheman website.
