1950s East German Industrial Clock from Elemental

Once upon a time, you had to get your hands dirty to find a vintage bargain. These days, you can browse the ever-growing number of websites devoted to salvaged gems - like Elemental, for example.

The site has a great selection of vintage items in need of a new home, everything from architectural features and signs through to lighting, seating and storage. This East German clock is just typical. A large clock (55cm diameter) in a polished steel case, it dates back to 1955 but has a look that wouldn't have looked out of place during the earlier modernist era.

The only thing we don't know is the price - you'll have to drop them a line about it (and indeed any other of the items on the site).
