Pre-war inspiration at Warehouse

Warehouse_retro

The high street's latest vintage inspired kick is the twenties and thirties, featuring a whole lot of deco and flapper inspiration. If fringed Charlston style dresses are a bit too costumey for you, there's thankfully a lot of easier, more sleek routes to the look.

These tops from Warehouse are a perfect example of the pre-war thread running through their Autumn/Winter collection, with chiffon, beading and classic florals the key embellishments. They're a great way to evoke the grandeur of the 1920s without looking like you're in fancy dress.
