Bilia

A great example of modernist design, now reissued by Fontana Arte – the Gio Ponti Bilia table lamp.

Launched back in 1931, the Bilia still looks alien some 70+ years on, but it also looks every bit as stylish and contemporary as it did back in the 1930s. For your money, you get a brushed nickel-plated frame which holds a diffuser in satin blown white glass. And just to keep that minimalism, the feeding cable is transparent.

Standing at 43cm tall and available to order online, you can pick one up for £37.
