Stripe Block Poplin Dress by Topshop
Most dresses with a fifties aesthetic are ideal eveningwear, but it can be hard to find a casual dress with the same style for those times when dressing up is just too much. This Stripe Block Poplin Dress from Topshop is by no means a perfect reproduction, but it does lend well from the era to create a great summer dress.
The fitted bodice contrasted well with the fuller skirt to give a retro silhouette. The striped print has a relaxed vintage inspired style, too. The overall look has a more modern edge, but with a circle skirt and cutesy summer look, it's a great daytime retro nod.
