Unordinary People is the intriguing title of an exhibition of PYMCA material taking place at the Royal Albert Hall from 21 April to 24 May. PYMCA stands for Photographic Youth Music Culture Archive and the display will use some of their images and footage to look at youth culture from the sixties to the present day. The display is taking place in the ground floor corridor of the Hall and so isn't likely to be extensive. However PYMCA has so much rich material that even a very few carefully selected images would still make for fascinating viewing.

The exhibition launches with a special night on 23 April when renowned sub-cultural style expert Ted Polhemus will be giving a talk. Tickets for this evening cost £6.50, including a glass of wine. Otherwise, you'll be able to see it if you happen to be attending an event at the Royal Albert Hall, or it's free to drop-in on Friday 15 May, Saturday 16 May, Sunday 17 May and Saturday 23 May (check the website for times).
