Bustier Puffball Dress from La Redoute
If you've ever clapped eyes on one of the myriad 80s teen flicks that still do the rounds on your telly, you'll no doubt have noticed America's fondness for the puffball prom dress at the time. A uniquely eighties take on an original fifties dress shape, the puffball dress is back in the mainstream.
This Bustier version from La Redoute is a great option for those wanting to imitate the style, keeping it classic and versatile in all black. The bustier top, complete with sweetheart neckline, is in perfectly keeping with the era and has the option of being strapless too.
This dress is available online from La Redoute for £29.

I'd stay away from this company. I purchased some clothes--very low quality--and they took almost 2 months to mail them. In the meantime, I kept trying to contact them by E-mail--didn't want to pay to call France!--and they NEVER answered. I finally got the clothes and returned them. It cost $37 for 4 pieces to be mailed. After almost a month, they sent me a CHECK in Euros! There was an 8.38 Euros in "agreed reduction" (?) with no explanation whatsoever. I have been trying to contact them to ask to have the TOTAL amount credited to my card and they have not yet answered. This is NOT a serious business.
