A couple of weeks ago I was raving about Mike Stimson’s Lego Classics photographs and prints, but just as brilliant are his series of Star Wars images.
This collection features a Lego Stormtrooper figure in a series of unexpected situations. Some are humorous, showing the Stormtrooper listening to music, checking his Facebook account or riding a bike in “Imperial Cutbacks”. Others are oddly wistful with images of the Stormtrooper amongst flowers, in the rain and building a snowman. Common to all though is Stimson’s wonderful photography. The images are available as posters, cards, prints or if you can’t pick a favourite, as a calendar with 12 images.
