Atari Arcade Duo - turn your iPad into a retro arcade machine
Not just a cutting edge gadget, the Apple iPad can become an old school gaming machine with the Atari Arcade Duo.
Available to pre-order now, this iPad add-on, as the name suggests, turns the touchscreen tablet into a miniature arcade machine, with joystick and button controls creating something approaching an authentic arcade experience in conjunction with vintage Atari games.
No batteries required, it just slots into our iPad for use (taking power from that) and works in conjunction with the 'free' Atari gaming app. We say free because it is for a few games. If you want extra games, you'll have to pay, although £6.99 for the complete 99-game pack seems pretty reasonable.
