Your New Met poster from London Transport Museum

This Your New Met poster is another gem from the archives of the London Transport Museum. 

This design by William Fenton dates to 1960 and was produced to mark the modernisation of the Metropolitan Line, in fact that same modernisation that created the stock of luggage racks we featured a couple of weeks ago. Using simple graphics and text, the poster outlines the changes to the line and contrasts the signal boxes, stations and stock of the past with the exciting new designs of the 1960s.
