1960s Warren Platner Easy Chair and Ottoman reissued by Knoll
A design classic, but one that was initially only available for a couple of years. Thankfully, the 1960s Warren Platner Easy Chair and Ottoman have now been reissued by Knoll.
it was produced between 1966 and 1968, although there have been reissues since. Saying that, there hasn't been an issue for over 20 years. But now it's back, hand-crafted using vertical steel wire rods welded to circular horizontal and edge-framing rods. It also has a bright nickel finish with clear lacquer protection.
As for the upholstery, there's a good choice of that, from the conservative to the wild (like a bright pink for example). The red above is something like the middle ground.
Doesn't come cheap though. £5,832 is the price of the chair, £1,608 is the Ottoman.
