Looking for a '70s motor that will be guaranteed to turn heads? This 1970s Lotus Elite 501 could be the car for you.

This two-litre model from 1977 is described as being in 'great condition' both inside and out and is both taxed and MOT'd until the end of the year. A lot of work has been undertaken too in the fairly recent past - front discs and pads, reconditioned radiator, alternator, new leads and plugs, you get the idea.

There is one issue that needs sorting - the lights will no longer go down when the engine is running, but that's something you can get sorted if you want to push it up a notch or two yourself.
