Twitter introduces vintage-style photo filters

Good news if you use Twitter on an iPhone or an Android smartphone - the company has just added vintage-style filters for your photos.

Yes, not unlike Instagram on the face of it, with the option to add a choice of filters to your mobile phone snaps. The likes of vintage, black and white or cinematic (to name just three) should add some age and quirkiness to your images before you post on the social network.

You can also optimise your photos for colour and brightness, as well as being able to crop your shots, so you can just upload the vital detail. All of that for free - just update your app (or download it) for free and you'll be away.
