Distinctively San Francisco by Herb Lester

A new map from Herb Lester is always a joy, but especially so when it features one of my favourite places as is the case with Distinctively San Francisco.

Illustrated by San Francisco-based artist Brent Couchman, the map is in the midcentury style we've come to expect from Herb Lester's products. Beyond the beautifully illustrated map, it lists 40 places that are typical of San Francisco including hangouts favoured by the Beat writers and a vintage magazine shop. It is A3 size when unfolded, so you could frame it and hang it on your wall when you return from your travels - and it certainly looks good enough for that.
