Le Corbusier Furniture and Interiors 1905-1965 by Arthur Ruegg
This may be the coffee table to end them all - Le Corbusier Furniture and Interiors 1905-1965 by Arthur Ruegg.
Written by Arthur Ruegg, a reknowned expert on Le Corbusier, the book focuses on his career in furniture and interior design - his contribution to architecture is no doubt worthy of a separate discussion. The book has over 350 pages with plenty of photographs to illustrate the main essay, which looks at his career in four chronological stages. Such a comprehensive study doesn't come cheaper, but it is surely a justifiable purchase for anyone with a serious interest in design.
Amazon are currently selling the tome for just under £110.
