Nuvola Suspension Light by Nemo Cassina
It's a new product but this Nuvola Suspension Light by Nemo Cassina is actually based on a original design by Mario Bellini dating to 1974.
Measuring 1.5 metres across, this fantastical plastic cloud-esque light definitely falls in the category of statement lighting. It has an interesting story to go alongside its appearance too. Bellini designed it for the launch of Pianeta Ufficio, an office furniture system. Nemo Cassina spotted its potential and have started producing it on an industrial scale.
The price puts it firmly in the fantasy camp too, as the lamp costs £1550.
